Paid Internship Opportunity At WCD Ministry For Women – Ministry of Woman and Child Development (MWCD) is inviting applications from women students/ scholars/ social activists/ teachers enrolled in/ associated with any university/ academic/ non-academic institution under ‘Internship Programmes of the Ministry.
Details of the Internship
The Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD), Government of India, has launched its Summer
Internship Programme 2025 exclusively for girl scholars. This paid internship aims to encourage
participation from women students, researchers, social activists, and teachers, particularly from non-tier-l
cities and rural India. The programme offers meaningful engagement, research opportunities, and exposure
to government programs and initiatives related to women and child development.
Role and Responsibilities
- The candidates willing to undertake pilot projects/ micro-studies focusing on the ongoing activities of the Ministry may apply through the portal of this Ministry.
Eligibility
🔷Open to women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers.
🔷Must be enrolled in or associated with a recognised university, academic, or non-academic institution.
🔷Preference will be given to candidates from non-metro cities and rural areas.
Other Details of the Paid Internship Opportunity At WCD Ministry For Women
✅ Stipend: Rs 20,000
✅ Duration: 2 Months
✅ Location: Delhi, India.
✅ Mode: Online
✅ Age Limit: Minimum Age – 21, Maximum Age – 40
✅ Interns Required: Upto 20 Interns for each batch
✅ Deadline: 1st to 10th of every month
Interns selected under this programme will receive
o Travel reimbursement (Deluxe/AC Bus or 3-Tier AC Train) for joining and returning from the programme.
o Travel and DA reimbursement for official tours during the internship (as per Government of India
norms).
o A certificate of completion, subject to submission/presentation of reports/papers on the work done.
o Hostel accommodation in Delhi (triple-sharing rooms with basic amenities).
o Facility available 2 days before the start and 2 days after the end of the internship.
o Note: Mess charges are not included and must be borne by the interns.

o Logistics support: seating arrangement, internet facility, and stationery.
o Internship Coordinator for guidance and support throughout the programme.
