IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Legal Manager – Debt Management with 1-6 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. The role involves overseeing collections, managing agencies, ensuring adherence to legal and banking guidelines, and contributing to recovery processes.

• Manage and undertake the collections process for assigned debts.
• Track portfolio performance for specific buckets and areas.
• Control delinquency bucket-wise and DPD-wise, focusing on non-starters.
• Allocate targets to agencies/in-house team and monitor achievement.
• Follow up regularly with default customers.
• Ensure adherence to collection processes and legal guidelines.
• Trace absconded defaulters and initiate recovery actions.
• Recommend legal actions for non-recoverable cases and follow up with the legal team for closure.
• Maintain data for administrative purposes, including delinquent account history and MIS reports.

🔹 Graduate in any discipline.
🔹 Postgraduate (MBA/PGDM) preferred.
🔹 1-6 years of experience in legal.
