SEBI Grade A Legal Assistant Manager Vacancy 2025 – SEBI, or the Securities and Exchange Board of India, is the statutory regulatory body that oversees the Indian securities market. Established in 1992, its primary functions include protecting investor interests, regulating and promoting the development of the securities market, and resolving investor grievances. SEBI acts as a quasi-legislative, quasi-judicial, and quasi-executive authority, ensuring transparency, fairness, and efficiency in the stock market, mutual funds, and other financial entities.  

SEBI invites applications from Indian citizens for the post of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) for the General Stream, Legal Stream, Information Technology Stream, Research Stream, Official Language Stream, Engineering (Electrical) Stream and Engineering (Civil) Stream. SEBI reserves the right to fill up the posts or not to fill up the posts at all.

🔹 Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute.

🔹 2 years post-qualification experience as an Advocate (including work in law firms) after enrollment under the Advocates Act, 1961.

Candidates interested in Assistant Manager (Grade-A) must note that their maximum age should not be more than 30 years. Candidate must have been born on or after October 01, 1995

The selection process for SEBI Recruitment 2025 will be conducted in three phases which are as follows-

Phase I will be an online screening examination consisting of two papers
Phase II will be an online examination consisting of two papers
Phase III will be a Personal Interview/Group Discussion
The final selection of the candidates will be made on the marks secured by the candidate in the Phase II Online Examination and the interview.

Pre-examination training for SC/ST/ OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates: SEBI will arrange pre-examination training for SC/ST/ OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates, free of cost in online mode. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates, who desire to avail of the pre-examination training, should invariably fill in the details in the relevant column while filling the ON-LINE application. Any subsequent request shall not be entertained. Further, no other mode of request shall be entertained.
